BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT celebrated the success of more than 140 students through its annual Graduation Ceremony at the Paul Octave Wiehe Auditorium, on 19th October 2019.

BCS travelled The Group Chief Executive, Mr Paul Fletcher FRSA,, FBCS for the occasion.

The ceremony was highly graced by the presence of The Director of the British Council in Mauritius, Mrs Niamh Allen, as Chief Guest.

The Regional Manager, Mr M Iqbal Boolaky FBCS, CITP addressed to the awardees by congratulating the efforts of both the awardees and their parents to succeed such exams.

BCS Group CEO, Paul Fletcher talked about the BCS Qualifications and its international recognition. He also talked about the challenges they will face int he world of work. He said "Today, one of our key objectives is making IT good for society. We do this by developing relationships and partnering with other professional bodies, trade associations and membership organisations to share expertise and opportunities, and promote the importance of IT as a global profession". He also mentioned " As the Chartered Institute for IT, we can take you all the way through the stages of your education from a young age, right through to a post-Doctoral Level and onto Professional Certifications once you’ve begun working in the Industry"..
