Mrs Indira Nath Varma MBCS, CITP
Indira is a professional web designer and web developer who also has an excellent background in accounting. She is the co-founder of Navy and Yan, which is an accountancy firm established in Mauritius since 2005. She has more than 25 years of experience in both fields and holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance and is a member of British Computer Society (MBCS). She additionally holds the Chartered IT Professional Qualification (CITP) from the BCS. She has developed a number of websites using Content Management System which are based on CSS, HTML, Javascript and PHP and which are compatible with browsers like Chrome, Firefox, IE8, IE9, IE10, Opera and Safari. She is a firm believer that there is always room for improvement and that it is never too late to start learning about new subjects. She always ensures that she is up to date with the latest technologies and changes being made around the world and strives to integrate it in her day-to-day work.

Director of the Institute for Information Technology Computer training Centre, he holds a Master in Computing and Information System (London). He has been serving as Lectirer at the London Academy of Computing & Electronics(London), the Merton College( London) and the University of Mauritius. He is also serving at the Mauritius Telecoms Ltd.

Mr Imtiaz Ahmad Hossanee MBCS
Imtiaz is a Professional Member of the BCS. He is also a Microsoft Certified System Engineer.
Imtiaz is the Client Services Lead at Eclosia Technology Sevices. He manages all IT related activities at group level. He is the floor manager for BCS activities in Mauritius.

Mr. Khaaliq Fawdar MBCS
Khaaliq is a seasoned IT Security & Compliance professional currently leading the IT Audit function at Eclosia group as Group Senior IT Auditor overseeing IT Security compliance in Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles and South Africa.
He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). He also holds an MBA with specialization in IT Enterprise Management. Khaaliq is an ACL Certified Data Analyst (ACDA Level 3). He is also certified in cybersecurity (ISC2).
Khaaliq experience ranges from ITGC's, Information Security assessment of ERP/Mobile apps, network vulnerability review, risk assessment, policy and procedures review and implementation, Data Privacy and GDPR compliance etc. He has extensive experience in the IT and auditing field with exposure on leading ERPs' on the market from a wide range of industries (Hospitality, Retail, Banking, Manufacturing etc.). Khaaliq is also well versed with leading IT security framework like ISO27000, COBIT, NIST, ITIL etc. He has hands on experience on leading vulnerability assessment tool.
Khaaliq is a registered trainer (IT field) with the Mauritius Qualification Authority (MQA) . Khaaliq is also a board member of the British Computer Society . |

Mr. Veeshal Seeballack MBCS, CITP
Veeshal is a Chartered member of BCS. He holds a PGD in IT from BCS and an MBA in computer Science.
Veeshal is a Senior System Analyst working for the Ministry of ITC in Mauritius. He has been a very active member of the section since its creation. |

Mr. Mohamed Iqbal Boolaky FBCS, CITP
Iqbal is a Chartered Fellow of the BCS. He holds an Honours degree in Mathematics, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and the PGD in IT from the BCS.
Iqbal retired from his role as Senior Educator at the St Joseph’s College, after 41 years of service in the educational field. He is the first BCS appointed Regional Manager in Mauritius.

Mrs Vishwani Devi Tarabhai Rambissoon MBCS
Also known as Madvi, she is a Professional Member of the BCS. She holds a PGD in IT from the BCS and a BA in Law.
Madvi is an Electoral Officer at the Office of the Electoral Commissioner in Mauritius.
She is a major figure in the promotion of BCS qualifications in Mauritius.

Mr. Guy Adrien Rodolphe Dupuy FBCS, CITP
Rodolphe is a Chartered fellow of the BCS.
Rodolphe
retired in September 1997 as IBL Group CIO after a long professional career in various clerical and Management positions in both Finance and IT. He also served as:(i) Lead IT Management Consultant for AEA- Consult responsible of a number of important Computerisation projects for Public/Private Corporations-up to Dec 2011 (ii)Freelance IT Management consultant Dec- 2013. He is currently engaged in benevolent activities with Lions Club of Port-Louis and BCS (Mauritius Section).

Mr. Guy Sergio Arlapen FBCS, CITP
Sergio is a BCS Chartered IT Professional Fellow with more than 25 years of experience in Mauritius and Africa. During these years, Sergio has been working across industry verticals in different companies such as Harel Mallac Technologies and PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd. During his tenure, he had the opportunity to participate alongside high level professionals in large strategic projects in Government and the Private sector.
He is currently managing the Mauritius Office for Altron Africa Ltd. Sergio has been chair for the Mauritius Section and has also occupied different positions in Section.

Ms. Azina Nazurally MBCS
Azina is a qualified and experienced professional in the field of software engineering. She holds a degree in software engineering and is a member of the British Computer Society. Azina is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Mauritius and has published several research findings in prestigious journals and chapters.
Azina has extensive knowledge and expertise in the conceptualization and development of software and APIs. Her background in AI, specifically machine and deep learning, makes her well-suited to tackle complex problems in the field of software engineering.
Azina is also passionate about making a positive impact in her community and is keen to work on projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She believes in using her skills and knowledge to make Mauritius a better place. |
